Ideally, you'd want to do most of your renderings on a desktop but sometimes you need to be flexible. Since I use 3ds Max, I'll be looking at laptops with Windows OS. Gaming laptops come with the necessary parts for 3d Rendering. The top three out of the box brands are ASUS , ACER and MSI. Pay attention to the graphics card and amount of RAM. Although both AMD and NVIDIA make great graphics cards, I prefer NVIDIA. Between 16 to 32 gigs of RAM should be enough to handle some of the most resource-intensive projects.
